Okay...do not hate me for creating this thread. Now, I know that the Twilight Series is currently going through a hype and I have a feeling that some members are very interested and others are...not. Discuss anything about Twilight here.

Twilight (the book) is pretty good, but Twilight (the movie) is pointless unless you want to have a good laugh.  |

I used to be a Twilight fan but somehow, I managed to get converted so now...not so much. Well, I still like the first book but the following books just got cheesier and cheesier.
I agree; the movie is only good for laughs. I seriously think I was the only one in the theater laughing my head off.

Really? All my friends and I were laughing like crazy, but we did it softly so no one would notice. The rest of the theater was screaming their heads off.

Before I watched the movie, I really like Twilight. Then, the movie came out. The actor, Robert Pattinson became Edward Cullen. The actress, Kristen Stewart became Isabella Swan. Now when I read the Twilight series, instead of me imagining the characters, they pop in my head.  I hate those actors and they are annoying so now I don't like the series.  |

I agree that they were horrible in the movie but I know from a fact that Kristen Stewart has at least one good movie: Speak. But other than that, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson destroyed the movie. Maybe that's why the movie was so funny.

So...Does anyone have any comments about New Moon?
I think that New Moon might be a little better than Twilight because they have a different director and a better budget.

Now New Moon is out... It's a tiny bit better than Twilight. The actors still sucked  but at least the special effects were soooooooooo much better ;D |
